What is a Family Resource Center?
Family Resource Centers provide safe, accessible places for families to connect with comprehensive, coordinated services that help families achieve their goals. Programs at each center are tailored to the culture, resources, and needs of the community they serve and focus on building on the strengths of each family and individual.
Family Resource Centers adhere to the Principles and Practices of Family Support established by Family Support America.
Family Resource Center Association members are Family Resource Centers who agree to adhere to the Principles and Practices of Family Support and the Colorado Revised Statute and, at a minimum provide Family Development services and Resource Information and Referral, as well as other core services as appropriate to their communities. FRCA’s Membership Committee reviews all applications for membership. To learn more, contact FRCA at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303.388.1001.
